Lachoo Memorial College of Science & Technology, Jodhpur
NSS Lachoo Memorial College of Science & Technology, Jodhpur has a golden history in its academic and co-curricular activities.Presently it is sanctioned 3 units to enroll 300 NSS volunteers to serve society for its better cause. They work with spirit of personality development through social service with a motto "Not me But you". To meet with the objectives volunteers conducted regular activities as well as special camp as per NSS calendar.Five NSS volunteers were selected for Pre Republic Day Parade Camp 2005 organised at Daman, from October 18-27, 2005. Dr Rajendra Mathur, Programme Officer was contingent leader for Rajasthan group.Mr Mahipal Singh Bhati NSS Volunteers was selected to lead, All India NSS Volunteer contingent at Republic Day Parade 2006 at New Delhi.Mr Bhanu Pratap Singh, was felicitated with National Service Scheme Puraskar 2003 by Govt of Rajasthan.Ms Shweta Gandhi, felicitated by Directorate College Education, Rajasthan for her commendable services.Mr Bhawani Singh, Mr Ravindra Pratap Singh (1997-98), Mr Malaram Khadav (2001-2002) were selected for Republic Day Parade.Yuva Chintan Shivir evam Sammelan was successfully organized in Feb 2002, in which NSS Volunteers, Programme Officers and Principals from the colleges of Jodhpur zone participated.Highest Blood Donations by NSS Volunteers and Students.The work at adopted basti was appreciated by the NAAC Peer Team. Regular visits to the adopted village and basti. Literacy and hygiene programs are regular feature. |
